The database part of Dialogs uses a combination of Lists and Pages to energize your content with interactivity and flexibility. Here’s how it works:
Some content is stored in easily defined "Lists." Each List may contain many pieces of content, and any number of items may be placed in a List. List items can be re-used in multiple places. Lists may be used for news articles, events, job openings, company officers, FAQs, products, territories, etc. Storing data as smaller List items allows Dialogs to simplify complex information architecture.
Dialogs also uses Pages to store content. Pages manage content that only needs to appear in one location.
Some areas may contain both Page information and List information. This page is an example. This center column is managed as a page, but the right column is randomly populated with banner ads for other areas of Dialogs.com.
