Dialogs professional hosting.

We provide hosting services exclusively for Dialogs-powered websites and mobile apps through our Dialogs Professional Services. As the publisher of Dialogs, we understand how to optimize every hosting parameter for security, reliability, and performance. Our hosting services include:

  • space on a Dialogs optimized server
  • a private IP address
  • a domain-specific SSL certificate for control panel access and ecommerce (extended validation certs optional)
  • nightly back-ups - local and off-site

Data storage and transfer specifications.

Basic hosting includes 5.0 GB of storage, redundant nightly backup of all data in two forms: whole-site disaster recovery backups for rapid restore in the event of hardware failure and daily snapshots of file-level contents for the previous 10 days, and the following data transfer per month: 20 GB (Shared C), 50 GB (Shared B), or 100 GB (Shared A). Our experience has shown that many websites and mobile apps operate under these limitations. The base installation of Dialogs, before customization or content entry, is 5.3 MB (files) + 794 KB (database) = about 6 MB.

Some installations require large amounts of storage or generate high volumes of data transfer. Additional storage space and/or data transfer capacity can be added for additional fees.

Hosting terms.

Hosting contracts are for a term of one year (twelve months) beginning on the date that Dialogs is installed on our server.

Web hosting equipment and facilities.

We own the Dell, HP, and Cisco branded servers, firewalls, and switches that serve and protect our applications. Our administrators monitor server load levels and are qualified to tweak web and database servers for optimal performance. Kaleidoscope equipment is secured in a state-of-the-art data center in Dallas, Texas. The secure data center is manned 24/7 and provides redundant power, HVAC, and fire suppression. Connectivity is fully meshed and redundant with multiple backbone providers. Our staff monitors equipment and manages all server provisioning and maintenance. Our web hosting is only available for Dialogs-powered projects.
