The Dialogs Professional Services web developer internship enables individuals to work on specific projects under the direction of Dialogs Professional Services staff resulting in a unique opportunity to learn from the originial developers of the software. Interns will develop Dialogs projects, gaining insights into content management, design integration, web 2.0 frontend techniques, web security, and Dialogs customization.

Responsibilities

  • participate in and support the development, testing, and deployment of Dialogs websites

Kaleidoscope is seeking a marketing intern to assist in the national brand-building and informational campaign for Dialogs. This is a great opportunity to a part of a national campaign from the start. Interns will do market research, build marketing contacts, help plan marketing communications including Dialogs.com, and help define the marketing plan.

Producer

The more complex the project, the more critical the role of producer. An experienced producer is essential for planning and execution. The producer manages the budget and timeline, creates the data architect, and ensures that all client needs are met. The producer must be able to look at a website from the perspective of site visitors and direct the development team to structure site content to maximize the user experience.

Producers must be detail-oriented experts in web capabilities and current best practices. They are also a business consultant. The producer ensures that the site meets the client's business objectives.

The information architect works with the web designer and frontend coder to organize website information to meet project objectives. The information architect must have a thorough understanding of user interfaces, content management efficiency, content and traffic scalability, and information security. Data center administrator

Dialogs Professional Services include professional hosting of Dialogs websites. The data center administrator is responsible for network and host-level security, server deployment, maintenance, load balancing, backup maintenance and testing, and disaster recovery for the Dialogs server farm. Data center administrators are hardware and Linux experts and stay abreast of trends in security and performance best practices.

Search engine optimization (SEO) strategist

SEO is a combination of art and science. Successfull SEO strategists stay abreast of current SEO best practices and techniques, and they apply them to Dialogs deployments.
