Dialogs Installation

Dialogs may be installed on most Linux servers with php, MySQL and FTP support. Secure connection to the server (SSL) is encouraged but not required. These are the steps to install Dialogs:
- Provision a MySQL database. Note the database name, user and password.
- FTP the Dialogs installer to the webroot of the website host (webserver)
- From a Browser, request the installer page:
http://domain.com/dialogs_installer.php - Enter the requested setup information
- Click INSTALL
- Remove the Installer
- Login to the site Control Panel:
http://domain.com/a/
Optional ADD-ONs
- TinyMCE WYSIWYG Text Editor
Dialogs v.8 comes with TinyMCE included, but it may not be the latest version, and you may want to update it. - True Type fonts for CAPTCHA
We now use 3rd party APIs for CAPTCHA, which do not come pre-installed.
